katy zachry joins us live. >> reporter: you said it, so far we know of two victims assaulted by this dproup group of armed m one of the victims was able to fight through the pain of being shot twice in the hip and actually walk to find help. 30-year-old man earlier this morning. he was robbed and shot while walking in the city's fronkford section. three attackers each wore face masks and each had a gun. one wielding a shotgun. investigators say the man refused to hand over his valuables when he was approached by the group so they shot him. he did manage to walk half a block to er. police say while he was there, another victim walked into the er. same er. that victim just 18 years old. she tells police she had gotten off a septa bus near the frankford station when she was assaulted by a group of men matching the same description as that who attacked the men earlier. >> northeast detectives is processing both scenes and hopefully the cameras at the septa terminal as well as the cameras we found at the apartment complex recorded something that can help us with this armed robbery shootin

nbc 10 katy zachry is there. she has an update. what have you learned. >> reporter: our photographer focuses in on is scene behind me. let me just recap what happened. earlier this morning, an offduty pennsylvania state trooper was in this area and saw a cadillac sedan crashing on the roosevelt boulevard southbound by summerda summerdale. that's the scene you see here. he went over to the vehicle. two people inside. one of the people inside a man got out and assaulted the trooper who was trying to help after this crash. he assaulted the trooper, the trooper was still able to call for backup. philadelphia police arrived here on the scene in enough time to arrest the man who had assaulted the trooper. the trooper we're told is going to be okay. in that time, philadelphia police had is suspect handcuffed in the back of one of their patrol cars and somehow he was able to punch his way out of back of patrol car and he fled from this scene. so right now heavy police presence on the roosevelt boulevard southbound. police are searching for

i'm katy zachry. it's 10:00 a.m. on your sunday. let's get right meteorologist krystal klei with a check of your sunday weather and a look at the week to come. a lot to talk about. >> there is. this is a look at center city. hard to see the building tops because we have low clouds and foggy conditions out there. we're especially foggy north of philadelphia throughout the suburbs, leely valley and berks county. take a look. still only an eighth of a mile in redding, .25 mile in allentown. trenton at three miles, philadelphia at five. look south. now that the rain has cleared, the fog has built back in. a quarter mile dover to millville. still dealing with fog problems this morning and that's going to linger as we go through the rest of today. radar and satellite shows we did have rain earlier today delaware to new jersey and that's what the fog is starting to build back in. cloudy for the rest of today. first alert forecast the entire viewing area tonight and through tomorrow, we'll track that down hour-by-hour coming up. >>> crystal
