adelson had been instrumental in convincing mark davis to bring his team to las vegas. he was expented to contrinute at least 650 million for the staium deal....about a third of the cost of the two billion dollar project. but he seemed to want an ownership stake in the team...he apparently wasn't getting what he wanted...and now...he's moving on. it apparently has to do with the lease proposal the raiders submitted last week. he sent out this statement: "it was certainly shocking to the adelson family. we were not only excluded from the proposed agreement; we weren't even aware of its existence." adter the adelson news... the raiders released a statement saying: the raiders deeply appreciate the efforts of the adelson family to bring the raiders to las vegas. we know this project could not have advanced to this point without them. the raiders remain steadfast in honoring mark davis' commitment to governor sandoval and the state of nevada to pursue relocation to las vegas. team owner mark davis and adelson met regularly leading up to davis's announcement that if las vega

right off the top as we mentioned, not a surprise that mark davis has applied for relocation. but what potential roadblocks does he run into right now from this point on? >> you're absolutely right. not a surprise. i'm a firm believer that actions speak louder than words and the organization has evidence through his actions over the last year or so, actually dating back two years or so that its intent and desire is to relocate. this is the second relocation application in two years. what it means is simply a step in the process. the league office, the staff will rub and scrub and that the proposed relocation terms. lease agreements, license agreements, rights agreements, financing, debt service, ebit, revenue projections. it will then go from the league office to the committees, the finance and stadium committee will evaluate it and ultimately it goes to a vote of the membership and the raiders will need to garner three quarters of the owners to approve it. >> let's say the nfl owners do vote to approve it. and then we move to the next step. there's been a lot of talk about wh

mark davis obviously has some hurdles to get over with regard to that move, and it just remains to be seen what comes next. it would seem obvious that the next step is officially filing for approval, and then you have the vote in late march by the nfl owners, but i also want to point out his dad didn't care what the nfl voters voted when they nixed the move to los angeles in the first place so key go into litigation against the nfl. this is a long, long story, and we're just really at the very outset of the trail. >> they're playing in oakland for the next two years, right? >> yeah. >> they will be in oakland for the next two years. >> maybe even longer than that. >> it looked like it. mark davis has been on record as saying that wants to guarantee or at least promise the raider fans here in oakland a super bowl title, and he says that the next couple of years that will be here, and he hopes to get it done as some sort of a consolation prize. but take a look at some of the aspects that have to happen to get to las vegas in the first place. it remains to be seen. can he work out a deal
