how are we looking, sal? >> all right. one of the things that i have noticed about this commute is even when things happen on the other side of the freeway this morning, people have been slowing down. i want to start with oakland. eastbound 580 at fruitvale. traffic has been slow driving westbound but also eastbound from grand avenue. eastbound traffic is affected. but westbound traffic is backed up from san leandro and slow up to the lake shore curve. 580 is worse than it normally is. it usually is slow but today it will be slow as well. we're also looking at the south bay commute. all of the freeways here are looking crowded into that west valley. 85, 101. and just kind of the normal commute. everyone seems to be back. let's go back to san jose. i want to show you, we saw the slow traffic on the maps. let's take a live camera of 101 in san jose. the traffic is backed up to the maze. you can see traffic is going to be busy. we do have that san jose camera. there it is. northbound 101. very slow. so yesterday was a great d

sal, what is happening? >> well, there's no a crash highway 4 at willow pass road. was at one point blocking all of the traffic lanes, but right now we have a live picture. if we can bring this up, you can see that one lane is getting through, but most of the freeway here is blocked. westbound 4 at willow pass road, right here at the top of the grade. so if you're driving in from pittsburgh, and you're trying to get to concord, everything is going to narrow down to one lane on this injury crash. recently, they have started let something traffic through for a while. it was all of the lanes blocked, we'll keep an eye on this traffic for you, because it is going to be slow. 580 through trayvon still looks good this -- tracy still looks good this morning. let's go back to the desk. >> you can go to me, sal. >> you can go to steve. >> temperatures have dropped into the 30s. a little chill to the air. plenty of 30s including half moon bay. a little bit of fog at the napa airport, also santa rosa, and i'm sure that will pop up next hour or two, certainly around sunrise. ot

all right, sal, what do you have, sir? >> we have a lot of slow traffic, and we also have traffic that's affected by the storms that have been happening over the weekend. let's start with he the tracy commute. we have slow traffic not only on 205, but also 580, getting through the alta month pass. it does look better once you get into the liver more area. highway 24, near the caldecott, both directions, really, watch for water rushing on to the road. that could make it tough. already a couple of wrecks have happened in that area, and it could be due to the water going through. musiong and taking a look a live picture of interstate 880, north and southbound, the traffic does look good as you travel past the coliseum. i want to remind you that on highway 37 in novato, between lakeville and 1001, that's closed for flooding. you can take lakeville to 101. and highway 17 is going to be slow. there's one-way traffic control in the granite creek area that is going to slow you down. now let's go back to to the desk. >> rivers and

what do you think sal? emoryville drifted in. if did and it's pretty -- it's pretty dense as you said there. traffic is going to be affected. people will slow down. we are going to start with the drive. first of all we will start with the tracy drive. people depend on that. i'm just about to get to bart delays as well. let's get to that tracy drive. the tracy drive actually looks okay if you are driving up to the tracy area. there have been no major problems on 580 and the traffic continues to look good as you drive through. there have been no major problems. now then if we are talking about the bart system i want to mention we have some major delays on the bart system and that's because maintenance vehicle is stuck between the mcarthur station and 19th. right in here. there is a maintenance vehicle that is stuck this very had the power the tracks down in area. trains coming up and then having to turn aroundf. you can take a train from pittsburgh bay point to about -- a little while -- you can take some trains in san francisco bu
