bay in west wildwood. the wind is picking and you happen driving water from the bay over this bulk head. you can see right here t water is running down into street. it is causing some of this minor tidal flooding we are expecting here at the jersey shore this morning and then again this afternoon. i stress minor. not like what we saw one year ago with that very serious nor'easter. take a look at the bay in there. see how serious the waves have gotten. this is from that wind right off the ocean. pushing the water on to the coastline. here in the back bays as well. really going to see a major concern of what we're already seeing with the wind. wind gusts picking up. picking up to 50 miles an hour or more. the wind are already causing problems. i just checked with atlantic city electric and already almost 1500 customers are in the dark right now. the majority of them are in long beach township and beach haven on long island. posted and monitor the conditions along the coast. live in west wildwood. >>> thanks.

we're at the north end of north wildwood and check out that surf. being driven here into the coastline by those winds right off the ocean, you can see the ocean is crashing here up onto the rocks. almost to the sea away where we're stabbeding at second after. this high tide is happening now along the ocean front. it will be happening in about an hour or so from now along the back bays and that's when we could see and are expecting to see minor tidal flooding along the back bays. more likely we'll see more widespread tidal flooding during this afternoon's high tide in about 12 hours from now. major things we're going to be seeing today, probably more significant than the flooding is going to be the wind. and wind gusts here along the coast. very significant, potentially up to 60 miles ran hour later and that certainly can cause damage. so you see just how big those waves are. we're going to continue to be keeping track of the high tied this morning. here along the ocean, head to the bay for just a while. we'll continue to bring you these pictures. ke
