here's our jeff cole. ♪ >> reporter: it was around 9:00 on the chilly first night of november when anna rivera walked into her grand parent's juniata home and realized she needed to make a trip back outside. >> in front of my house there was no parking and i forgot my boots in the car for the next morning. >> reporter: 19-year-old saw her chance to move closer. the car her boyfriend's mom kindly let her borrow. sherryparked the 1994 toyota corolla and headed back inside. >> like five minutes later, um, there was gunshots. >> reporter: a man anna doesn't know was wounded on the sidewalk. she called 911 and watched from the door as police arrived. >> i just wanted to make sure he was okay but unfortunately he wasn't. >> reporter: lycombing street was a wash in red and blue flashing lights as officers searched the murder seen with flashlights. also, struck by gunfire the car anna borrowed. she took a photo of bullet hole. before towing away the car, a detective said they needed to take it and the bullet lodged inside for evidence telling her. >> they were not going to damage car in any way

jeff cole is following this story joins us from the studio here. jeff, why are the authorities talking now? >> reporter: well, authorities say that they were building a case that ended with a guilty plea now delaware county district attorney jack whelan and media chief of police are concerned there are still more young people out there who are assaulted by 20-year-old hughes to sick lucks. he's lock up graterford second plea back in february. but his a pledge, his approach to young victims that has the authorities asking parents and guardians to take a good look at his approached his victims in elementary school park in media in the center of media and lured them back to east baker street apartment with promise of entertainment and you give guessed it booze and some drugs. his victims range in age from 12 to 15 years and there are a dozen of them. maybe more, district attorney details the attack on a 12-year-old. >> he lures her back from the media elementary school playground, lures her back to his apartment, plays video games with her, then attac

joining me the tom cole of the state of oklahoma. congressman, first, do you believe jeff sessions should recuse himself from any sort of investigation? >> oh, i think it would be wise given the controversy here. again, i find it premature to talk about an investigation, at least one that involves criminal activity. it's worth looking at what the russians are doing anytime, any place. i find it -- count me as skeptical that jeff sessions was manipulated with the russians or colluded with them. >> mike flynn has been forced to resign. we know that the russians tried to interfere with the election. why not have a very clear investigation and given jeff sessions had one, maybe two meetings or contact with the russian ambassador, why not clear the deck, recuse himself? >> look, my personal view is, there's a lot of hypocrisy going on in this whole thing. the president of the united states, president obama, you know, actually directly interfered in the british election going to britain telling them they are going to be at the back of the
