olivia raves about her coordinated care manager, c.c.a., and how she has helped stabilize olivia's health, recognizing issues before they become emergencies. prior to onecare, olivia went to the emergency room every few months with a severe u.t.i. that landed her in the hospital. her care coordinator recommended that she see an infectious diseases doctor who prescribed a preventative antibiotic, something none of the many doctors that she had seen had put together. olivia now hasn't been to the hospital for a u.t.i. since then. this time around, when olivia needed emergency care, her coordinator sent community medics to her apartment, providing her with better care and avoiding an expensive emergency room visit and other complications. before careone, olivia was using a third-hand wheelchair with a bent frame and a wheel that she had to weld back together every few months. medicare and medicaid kept dodging responsibility for wheelchair repairs. olivia's care coordinator helped her get a new chair. that's a real quality of life improvement for olivia. i want to say a special thank you to

police arrested the suspect56- year-old salvador vasquez- olivia. he was taken into custody in san francisco. the victims were discovered after a family member here in the bay area called police to do a welfare check. ( james ) we are now learning the identity of the man police say opened fire on a las vegas bus, killing one and injuring another. this happened saturday. authorities say rolando cardenas was sitting in the rear of the bus near the victims. the bus stopped and passengers were getting out when cardenas stood up and fired several shots. the suspect then barricaded himself in the bus for hours. he eventually surrendered peacefully. a 57-year-old from montana died at the hospital after he was shot. another victim suffered minor injuries. cardenas is charged with attempted murder, burglary and discharging a gun.
