. >> reporter: rahel, jim, good morning. not only that, the driver said he was trying to make his way home when it felt like that his van was dragging something. so he pulled over into a driveway, right behind me here in overbrook. got out every his van, only to find a body underneath his vehicle. police and medics called to the scene, turns out, that victim had been shot. he was pronounced dead on the scene. you can see here this morning, a bit dark, police are still on the scene investigating exactly what happened. but most of the activity has moved on. that body was removed about a half hour ago now. the glue some discovery was made just before midnight here in the 1,000 block of north 68th street. police actually responded for a report of a pedestrian being hit by a car. but when they got here, they found that victim lying in the driveway and realized he had also been shot at least once in the head. medics again pronounced him dead on the scene. now during the investigation, police say, it appears the victim is actually
