southern delaware, jersey shore, mostly rain. it's the wind and the coastal flooding that is a big deal. there's the blizzard warning for all those counties to the north, including mercer county in new jersey. now you need wind on top of the heavy snow and the restrictions to visibility. there's the coastal flood warnings. but it's just for one high tide. and that is fortunate. because there if were two high tides, it would be disastrous. you can see the snow echoes starting to show up coming into the delmarva. really not reaching the ground yet, but eventually it will. and some of this moisture from the gulf of mexico is going to get into this thing. and a tremendous amount of moisture. now, we're above freezing now, but we're not going to be this warm tomorrow once we get the snow and the ice and all that. the current winds are very, very light. but look at what happens as we go through the night. by tomorrow morning, we're gusting to 45 at the shore. 25 to 30 elsewhere. and then look at that, by 9:00 a.m., gusting to 45 miles

very heavy rain currently falling through southern delaware, most of southern new jersey, more mixing beginning to take place though around philadelphia, we saw some sleet in philly over the last hour or so, along i-95. so not just sleet but also heavy snow falling here along i-95, really going to slow you down, then you get the darker shades of purple indicating heavier rainfall or snowfall intensity, that's going to lead to poor visibility. in addition to that, as we had mentioned earlier in the show, anything from chester to montgomery to bucks counties and points north you're now in a blizzard warning, folks, and the blizzard has a very specific definition for us to call it that. got to meet certain cry tear y got to have some snow, whether it is actually falling from a storm, or blowing around, you don't actually have to have a storm overhead as long as the snow is blowing, that is part of the criteria. wind gusts of at least 35 miles per hour. and your visibility under quarter of a mile. all of that for at least three hours. at least three hours. and it looks lick we will have t
