carson: well, sure. it's hard to argue these geopolitical risks aren't important but the problem is if ou get -- if you get a default of the u.s. debt the market is not going to think we are not capable of paying our debt but it would really call into question everybody's assumptions about safety of financial assets, the way things are supposed to work. i think the more preparation the market has for this possibility the less that -- the less of a shock it will be, the less it will be called into question. but, yeah, that's -- this is something that we really do need to start a dialogue about and that's what i attempted to do. vonnie: the china economy was rewarded 6.9% g.d.p. growth overnight. you invest a lot in china. do you believe this figure the china economy back on track? carson: look, i never believed the g.d.p. figures and i think it's -- they're pretty well established reasons why not to believe them. let's say directionally there was an improvement but my view, china is a massive asset bubble

my two-part question is, if we had a cr, will the next bre gad combat team out of fort carson be able to deploy with reliable equipment and necessary training? and secondly, would the next striker brigade out of fort carson be able to go to the national training center to get critical training before deploying? >> congressman, the striker brigade you're referring to, that's a rotation that would be canceled. so if there's a yearlong cr, that unit rotation would likely be canceled. for the deployment to europe, we plan on fully funding and resourcing units that are deploying into iraq, afghanistan and other areas of combat. however, the unit that goes to europe, for example, on a rotational basis you're referring to, they would not get their full suite of home station training prior to deploying

"he's basically my brother, because i was going to have a twin brother but he never came out of the womb." carson was diagnosed with vanishing twin syndrome at age two, an emotional separation deficiency. "finn is what solved that problem for him, it helped him have the loyalty and love to end to no end to help him bridge the gap with that deficiency that he had of losing his twin before he was born." the two have been inseparable for five the last five years. "he's basically my entire heart, he broke it it when he got away but made it bigger when he came back." finn was found wandering near a creek about two miles from his home. he lost about ten pounds and came back with an injured paw.
