so i watched george w. bush recognize the reality that he was the leader of the free world and i'm reminded that even other great leaders in the world depend on the united states leading the world. so they look to the president of the united states to provide, i'm going to say, a conscience for how they behave and what they do. i think donald trump is coming to recognize that. that's why he's looking a little bit more presidential on the world stage today than he looked on the day that he took the oath of office. that doesn't mean that he is completely enamored with what he has to do, but the reality of the job is that he has to do some things that he didn't think he was going to have to do and he'll have to do things in a different way than he might have thought he would do them because he's not a dictator. he has to lead by governing and inspiring and motivating and make sure he leads with responsibility because so many other players in the world may be irresponsible if he shows the irresponsible behavior
