"eyewitness news" reporter cleve bryan is live at the camden county courthouse this afternoon where that trial continues. cleve. >> reporter: good afternoon jan. right now the mother of three-year-old brendan creato is on the stand being cross examined by the defense. she testified before that her ex-boyfriend, dj, david jr. creato was in custody of young tren brendan at the time that brendan was found dead in haddon township back in october of 2015. now, this all started in the early morning hours on october 13th of 2015 when dj called 91 saying that he couldn't find his three-year-old son brendan. that led off a three-hour search. ultimately first responders finding the little boy's body down by the cooper river. now, this trial is all about how did the little boy get there and who killed him. right now they believe the prosecution that dj killed his son in an attempt to keep his girlfriend who didn't
