roberta gonzales is in for paul deanno this evening. we're learning more about the man who died in a confrontation with fremont police. the coroner now says 24 year old roger perez of orinda was not killed by police... instead, he died of a self-inflicted gunshot. fremont police answered a call for assistance from east bay regional parks police late sunday. they say perez shot at officers and they returned fire... but the coroner says the bullet that killed perez was his own. a setback for a marauding band of dirt bikers in san francisco... police have made an arrest. the man had split off from a group of about a dozen motorcyclists sunday -- trying to flee authorities. but a c-h-p helicopter watched him ditch his bike ... then hide under car at paul avenue and gould. ronet sanidad was taken into custody on multiple charges, including felony reckless driving. his dirt bike was recovered from the bushes and impounded... investigators also found its "vin number" had been altered. the c-h-p is investigating whether the dirt biker was invol
