at the height of her successes, her husband of almost ten years, stefan belafonte would, quote, beat me down to let me know that he was in charge. she included photos as evidence. this image of her with a bandage on her face and another from the uk x factor where she claims bruises are visible. her time lane dates back to november of 2007, the day after her finale on "dancing with the stars." she claimed stefan placed both of his hands around her neck, began choking her and slammed her down on the floor. in july of 2012 as a judge on the australian x factor, she said a planned segment with usher sent belafonte into a jealous rage. she claims he purged her with a closed fist and split her lip. then more abuse claims the following month. in august of 2012, she was part of the spice girls performance at the closing ceremony of the london olympics. the following day, she says belafonte, quote, punched me in the face with a closed fist. at the time, mel b posted this photo of an injury and claimed that she fell while running in seven-inch heels. now in the court papers, she said that stef

stefan belafonte has filed his official response to mel b's divorce petition. in the documents obtained by "e.t." he's asking for spouzal support. he also wants mel b to pay his legal fees and the 41-year-old movie producer is asking for joint legal and physical custody of their 5-year-old daughter madison. >> she's my kid. >> stefan instagramed this video with their little girl in australia last year. >> i love my daddy. >> meanwhile, mel b stopped by her lawyer's office in west hollywood yesterday. she's been there twice this week. on monday she filed this restraining order against belafonte claiming that he was abusive during their nine-year marriage and that she was -- in fear for my safety." the filing included photos which paeshd to show bruces and claims that the abuse often coincided with mel b's high proifl h profile appearances. zwroo the nanny has been thrust into the spotlight. >> is there any truth in the allegations? >> that's lorraine gilles walking her dog. >> any comment at all on what's going on? >> gilles did not return our calls for comment.

you can see the bruises she now plames on belafonte. mel said, quote, she never told friends how bad the abuse was and it escalated after he hired lorraine. he, quote, wanted her to have the baby and all three of us live together. later on, belafonte ordered lorraine to have an abortion and use the money made by me to pay for it. these allegations are lied and lorraine is sdef stated. stefan hasn't responded to our request for comment. >> where is mel b right now? >> yesterday her assistant ignored questions while running errands in mel b's car, but today the "america's got talent" judge was spotted smiling arriving to her lawyer's office. >> we may see her next at a restraining order hearing on april 21st. >> let's turn to another story wooe been keeping a close eye on. there have been these rumors that katie holmes and jamie foxx are a couple. do new photos of the two of them together prove it's true? >> a blogger snapped this sneaky pic of katy and jamie dining in new york's east village. jamie in a fedora and katie in a black jacket
