u2 for the 30th anniversary of their epic album "joshua tree." about 50,000 people were in attendance last night including some people like, i don't know, my co-anchor. nbc's sky ranger over -- this must have been amazing, laura. >> it was a great, great show. they played everything from that joshua tree album which is such a great hit. sky ranger was over the scene there. vta and caltran ran late night service because the show went after the city's event curfew. they were working on that anticipating another estimated 6,500 people used vta to get home. >> well worth it i think, definitely a bonus for you and vta helping out as well. a smooth drive, light traffic flow. a lot of folks are sleeping in which is what laura would be grateful for as well. eastbound 80 near the toll plaza we had that crash, minor backup as they cleared the leaps. it sounds like the lanes should be cleared up judging by the speed sensors which have good recovery. chris talked about the vta lines on white road. white road reopened past the fire where she's tracking that.
