those fbi based out of washington, d.c. were here. they showed up in downtown annapolis along main street to search and cease records and they came to search the strategic campaign group that's located on the third floof floor. they described themselves as a full-service campaign group that does tv, print, e-mails advertising and marketing. while fbi agents were some scene, the group's president kelly rogers talked to reporters. rogers told reporters he believed the fbi was here regarding the group's work for republican nominee cuccinelli for the 2013 race. a civil was brought on the camp after he lost the race to terry mcauliffe. the strategic campaign group april aeventer somed conservative strike force which is a controversial political action committee dubed donors into thinking more than $2 million would hel elect the gop candidate. the suit alleges that the group and the pack failed to follow through on an extensive media campaign and rogers says he believes that today's investigation all stems from those allegations.
