pam moore.( steve ) and i'm steve aveson. the shooting happened on market street... between 5th and 6th streets. the streets had been blocked off for most of the day but just reopened about 90 minutes ago. no iffcers were hurt... but there is a second man in the hospital. kron 4's charles clifford is live for us tonight along market street with what we know about the suspect. charles. well, the investigation. . . . now , we do have some cell phone video from the scene. the video quality isn't that great but it does show how caotic it was out here. now this started just before 1130 this morning, when two sfpd officer walking in the 900 block of market street saw a white male adult stabbing a phlipino man. the officers interviened and during the confrontation at leasat one of the officer shot the white male. he was later pronounced dead on the scene, the philipno man was transported to the hospital. the extent of his injuries is unknown right now. no officers were injured. police chief william scott was on scene this afternoon

( grant ) pam and steve... we have been following this story of a little over a week now. we first heard of an arrest over the weekend... tonight we know who the suspect is. 36-year-old james bishop the third.... of pittsburg... is facing dozens of charges tonight for a series of fires that torched cars all over contra costa county. it turns out investigators were able to use surveillance video to track down bishop. they say they kept seeing a toyota rav 4 near some of the fires. as they dug into the case... they identified bishop as a suspect. and when they went to arrest him... he was driving a 1996 toyota rav 4. bishop does have a criminal record... but has not been busted for arson before. investigators are confident they have theiy guy.

(pam) im pam moore. elijah dunn died... when an s-u-v plowed into the back of his mother's car in september. this is the suspect... yarenit malihan. she is the wife of an alameda county sheriff's deputy. and a warrant has been issued ..... on charges of vehicular manslaughter and a d-u-i.... kron4's terisa estacio was "first" to break the news today... she has details .. this case dates back 8 months ago - on a friday evening - malihan driving a white sequoia crashed into a stalled car on 680. inside that car, a family including elijah and his mother and siblings. elijah was killed immediately crushed by malihans car. malihan was tested and now we know she has been charged with two counts. these are the charges. count one, gross vehicular manslaughter and count 2 driving under the influence and causing injury. malihan has a history of substance abuse it was just last friday when pleasaton police found her in a ditch around the corner from her home. she was cited for public intoxication. last june, she was arrested for drivi
