pete suratos just arrived at the scene. what can you tell us, pete? >> reporter: good morning to you. waiting for a sergeant to get on scene to give us more details on what led to the shooting or what took place, but i can tell you there's a coroner's van near this block on the 3700 block in south san francisco. you see a very active scene. from our vantage point, you can see a number of agencies here. you see them looking at a house in the area, looks to be in the garage area, but let's show you the video from earlier when this took place. a sergeant is en route to give us more details. what i can report is there are a number of agencies. i see the san mateo sheriff's agency, the south san francisco police. a coroner's van is on site as well as a forensics team. they did arrive here roughly at 12:00 a.m., but that's roughly all the details we have at the time. we're waiting for the sergeant en route to tell us what took place in the shooting. we'll continue to monitor this situation and have an update at the top of the next hour. >> thank you, pete.
