. >>> joanne pileggi just arrived at a fire in wildwood crest. >> reporter: rear by the fire, they're about two houses behind me right over there on park drive. i'm going to step out of the picture and i think we have video and some still photos from the height of the fire. this fire broke out around 3:15 this afternoon. fortunately, the fire department, the volunteer fire department was just a block and a half away. those calls came out and the firefighters came rushing in. two houses were burning at the time of the fire. there were people in one of the homes, and neighbors apparently knocked on the doors and got them out. as you can see from some pictures that some viewers sent to us, the smoke was thick and black in the sky and there were couple explosions. the fire chief tells me those were propane tanks on the back porch. the good news, no one was injured. but both of those homes, those water front homes are a total loss. no one injured in this multi-alarm fire in wildwood crest. we'll be back after this break. . >>> the phillies are back to trying to figure this whole thing out.
