let's go to video from the scene in wilmington. this happened around 2:30 yesterday afternoon at sixth and spruce. police say a gunman opened fire into the intersection hitting cars and hitting a six-year-old boy in his head and his 31-year-old mother, she was behind the wheel and struck in her arm. again, he was hit in the head. police do not believe they were the intended target. the little boy was rushed to a.i. dupont in critical condition. his mother was that taken to saint francis in stable condition. she has since been released and joins the boy's father at their son's bedside in the icu. the gunman was last seen fleeing south on spruce. witnesses say he was in a white pickup with another person inside. there's no clear motive in this case. >> people need to be outraged. the line coming through wilmington isn't going to take as long. it tax about half hour for this rain to move the length of that red arrow so in wilmington i would think 15 minutes of heavy rain and that's it. farther north it could be more like a half hour or even a little bit more. you know what, i want to just adjust that storm track just a hair. we might get a slight change on some of these arrival towns. some of these towns are already seeing lighter rain but i'm tracking that heavy stuff that's really going produce the ponding and puddling. ridley park collingdale closer to 6 o'clock. northeast philadelphia 5:58. darby 5:59 and delco and chester at just about 6 o'clock. that is the arrival of the heavy rain and while we're at it, how about we just move this track down the pike and see if we can't catch some of the towns farther to the south that are, again, only picking this up for about 15 minutes or so and it does look like arden, boothwyn brookhaven and lansdowne probably between now and about 5:54. i want to leave you with that wide view.
