breaking news now in new jersey. three day government shutdown is now over. >> legislature passed the budget earlier this morning ending a state mate. nbc 10 live. one of those parks that will reopen today. matt. >>> the signing of that budget means parks like state park right here in pens grove will be reopening later on today. parks and nonessential state services had been shutdown for the past three days because of this budget stalemate. late last night reached an agreement. overhauling biggest insurance provider. that was a must have for the governor. here is a list of some of the other places $34.7 billion will go. first off, funding for pre-k through grade 12 public education. also $2 billion for new jersey transportation infrastructure. also in the budget, funding for the pension. first time lottery revenues will be dedicated to the state's pension system and also be $900 million for property tax relief programs. just a few of the items there. assembly speaker vincent prieto talking about that deal last night.
