marshals last night in oakland. san francisco police took andrew warren into custody last night as well. lathem is an associate professor at northwestern university and illinois. warren works at oxford university in england. there has been a manhunt for these men who are accused of killing trenton cornell- duranleau . the victim had just moved to chicago after graduating from cosmetology school in michigan. lathem sent a video to friends and family confessing to his role in the stabbing and calling it the worst mistake of his life. police in there is another twist in the investigation. the suspect may have stopped in wisconsin to make a donation to a library in the victim's name. >> this is unusual. i've never seen where suspects in a homicide when make a donation in the victim's name. >> reporter: overnight we received a statement from chicago police they said "both individuals will be held accountable for their actions and we hope the arrests brings some small level of closure and justice for the victim's family.
