let's go to video from north philadelphia. you can see police on the scene there gathering evidence. they were there for hours. this happened shortly before 1:00 a.m. on the 600 block of perth place in the philadelphia housing authority spring garden apartments. police initially thought this was a double shooting and arriving officers found two men in the courtyard. they both had been shot. a 58-year-old man was hit in his leg and hip. he's in stable condition at hahnemann university hospital. the second man who is 26 years old was shot in the hip and is in critical condition. while police were there investigating, a neighbor discovered a third victim. he was lying in the bushes between buildings. he was shot in his back. police know his name. they say he was in his late 20's, early 30's. police rushed him to hahnemann where he was pronounced dead shortly before 2:00 a.m. witnesses described one gunman. they say he was wearing a mask and dark clothing. investigators say more than a dozen shots were fired from two weapons. poli

irma is about 400 miles across that is like driving from philadelphia to cleveland and the actual eye of the storm is almost as big as some of the islands it is heading towards and it's 25 miles across and anguia and nevis, 35 miles across and heading to the west and northwest about 15 miles per hour and it's starting to make that slight jog to the north, now not only is it enormous it's also one of the strongest storms ever recorded in the atlantic, it's a four way tie for second place, the only storm stronger as far as wednesday speed was allen back in 1980. so this storm has everything, it has got storm surge up to about 20 miles, it has hurricane force winds 185 miles per hour winds right along the eye and looks like anguila will be hit directly with that storm that is a low lying island only about 15,000 inhabitants and the island will be swallowed by the storm tomorrow morning and looks like it will continue to push to the north, northwest and british virgin islands and the latest path has the strongest winds passing north of puerto rico and dealing with tropical storm force win

christopher's hospital in north philadelphia. matt, a lot of people shocked to hear the headline, a 6-year-old shot. and police are weighing in on this. what do they think happened? >> reporter: well, they're still looking for the shooter at this hour, katy, and say this boy was definitely not the intended target. the 6-year-old is expected to recover. he's here at st. christopher's hospital for children, but you can imagine how frightening this must be. this little boy is standing outside his house talking with his older brother and father and suddenly realizes he's been shot. so as of right now investigators don't really know what started this violence, what caused this guy to start firing his gun, but the 6-year-old was an innocent victim here. this happened around 8:00 last night at west norris street and 24th street. witnesses say they heard around four shots being fired. now, the 6-year-old was hit in the shoulder, he ran inside his house and then rushed to the hospital. but philly police spent the night looking for this gu
