it's 49 in santa rosa. longer nights are offering up cooler weather particularly in the north bay, with a little bit of fog. 60 concord and livermore. we are looking at plenty of sunshine today. good air quality, and increasing fire danger as the winds shift around tonight into tomorrow out of the north and east. so that's going to allow the atmosphere to dry out. with those dry winds, yes, we could see some fires, hopefully not, but be advised. do be careful out and about today. mild and sunny weather for most of us over the weekend. we'll look for temperatures to come down even more so next week. let's check out those winds. throughout the day today and into tomorrow, you'll notice that when they pick up with the yellows here and the pinks offshore, it's through the oernight hours. and in fact into your sunday morning, we've got wind gusts over 20 miles per hour. inside the bay, not as breezy. that's why the warning is up for the higher elevations of the north and east bay hills. that fire weather watch.
