>> we found the records in maryland as well as in delaware. the paper trail starts in 2003 when prince pleaded guilty to 15 counts of burglary. he was put on probation and ordered to pay $34,000 in restitution. in both february and may of 2006 he violated his probation because he did not pay the restitution. after that his record looks clean, at least until 2015 when he is again arrested in maryland on four hand gun charges. he is charged with having a hand gun in his car, illegal possession of a gun and ammo and having a firearm in maryland after being convicted of a felony. it is not clear whether he spent time in prison for those charges. we are also finding a handful of civil disputes in maryland and in washington state. the most recent from this february when a coworker tried to get a restraining order against him alleging that prince punched a coworker and threatened other staff. a judge ultimately threw that out, though, saying there wasn't enough evidence. live in the breaking news center, i am mitch blocker, nbc10 news. >> thank you f

he's gone from heartford county to delaware. we don't know what his intentions are or what his next stop may be. >>reporter: now, we know from the sheriff that they knew who they were looking for quickly because business saw prince and now we know that apparently a witness up in wilmington delaware also identified prince and that's where we'll go now. my colleague, matt ackland is in wilmington with the latest on the search for prince and what happened up there. matt? >> reporter: paul, i'm here at the wilmington police department where there's a special command center set up on the second floor of this police station are authorities throughout this area, we're not just talking about delaware. we're talking about new jersey and maryland. they're all searching for radee prince, earlier the chief basically laid out the connection. he said it happened at a car dealership when prince arrived there and shot someone he apparently knew. police responded and went right for the victim and apparently at that time, prince's suv leaving the

now to a story developing in delaware. the shooting of a teenager sent police officers rushing to the scene. that teen is now fighting to survive. matt delucia is live in new castle to tell us more about this investigation. matt? >> reporter: that teen is in critical condition this hour at the hospital. and in the meantime, police are still trying to find the person who pulled the trigger. this happened around 10:00 last night on the 2 un-- 200 block of highland boulevard. part of a development, homes along the block, but not any major roadways. police are trying to figure out who fired the gun. they were talking with neighbors tieing to get information and leads to -- trying to get information and leads to track this person down. we've been checking in throughout the night with new castle police to get details. they haven't released too much more at this point. they of course are trying to learn more about this case, as well. so at this point, there have been no arrests. if you know anything, call police, as well. for now
