the other is at a fire house in felton. lee is there talking with evacuees all morning long, we have an update from her at around 9:30. we have extended the 9:00 to bring you the news conference. cal fire will be bringing us up to date information on the fires. >>> we are also getting new information on the fires in the north pay, containment has gone up overnight. the nuns fire grew 1300-acres but containment went from 53% to 68%, there was no change in the 36,000-acre tubbs fire but containment went up from 75% to 82% and the atlas fire is 77% contained from 70% last night. in the meantime evacuation orders were lifted last night for two neighborhoods in santa rosa, people in guiserville and hills are allowed to return, 102 people are unaccounted for in sonoma and napa counties. the latest person killed was the driver of a fire truck killed in the nuns fire operation. >>> the fires are coming close to wineries in napa but the fire containment has grown, allie rasmus is live at a staging area an update on the progress. >>

a second evacuation center is being set up at a fire house in the community of felton. people who were first evacuated went to boulder creek elementary school. there are logistical problems. this has been named the bear fire. it started as a house fire off of highway 35. the fire destroyed that house. it is threatening 150 other homes. a lot of people involved in the evacuation. 20 minutes ago, we checked in with ktvu's christien kafton who is right there near the fire. he reports that two firefighters have been injured battling this fire. one fell down a hill and broke a wrist. christien kafton, again, live there near the fires and we will check in with him at the top of 7:00. >>> the time is 6:55. the area quality will not be good today because of the smoke from the wildfires. there is a spare the air alert for the bay area. the highest unhealthy readings is napa, solano and sonoma counties. expect moderate to poor air around the bay area region for the next couple of days. >>> well, the air quality experts are taking a different view of cal's football win over washin

abc 7 news reporter matt keller is live in felton. matt? >> reporter: good morning, jessica and reggie. the hope is that firefighters will get the bear fire under control and that these people will be able to return home but unfortunately for some of them there is no home to return to. we got the latest numbers from cal fire and here they are, four structures destroyed and about 150 in danger. bear fire at 271 acres and 5% contained. one woman we spoke with said embers were already on her driveway when her family decided to leave. >> my husband said if there's anything that you want, you'd better take it now because that's it. and so i grabbed my dad and my brother's urn. >> reporter: the same evacuations are still in effect this morning. >> they are patrolling the area overnight. several road closures and shelters and if you need that information abc7news.com. >> dublin residents are waking up in their homes after being evacuated yesterday by fast moving grass fire. sky map 7 showing you exactly where the fire was burning and how dangerous

only 59 degrees middletown it is 59 in felton. none of those places should be getting to 70 today. clouds all over the area. we have moisture not too far away moving close to the coast and eventually moving up to the north. you'll see that in our futurecast. we have a few sprinkles across the area. here comes some of that southern moisture as we go overnight into the morning. the ground could be wet. a lot of clouds tomorrow. you can see a few showers scattered around but maybe some peeks of sunshine later in the day that will help push the temperature above 70. if you don't see the sunshine it will be a struggle to get there. sunday start off with fog and then the sun breaks out and we have got 80s. but here comes a cold front, some showers sunday night into first thing monday and then the dry and colder weather comes in. as we go through the afternoon and evening it is cloudy, as you can see. by tomorrow morning clouds and showers around. later in the day those showers disappear and the temperature goes up. look at that by 5:30 in the afternoon. so as we go through the weekend we

school, but because of poor cell phone reception there is another election opened at a fire house in felton. jesse is there live with a report on how the evacueeses are doing. >> reporter: a handful of evacueeses came here, they are from spain, here in the area on vacation when the bear fire chased them from their friend's home. they have some medication that was left behind when they were forced to evacuate and they are trying to find a way to replace the medication, they said it depends on the weather conditions whether or not they will stay here at the fire house or return to their friend's home. less look at the video, one of the other evacuation sites is the lake side elementary school. we found an elderly couple who has lived in the area for 40 years, other people who have been staying at the shelter have left to check on their homes ask properties and business affairs, the northern california red cross said the school's gym will be converted for overnight sleeping as needed. the school and staff juggled a regular day of classes with people from the community. >> this is a wonderful c
