. >>> one of mr. snyder's players had a breakout game this weekend. running back chris thompson, he only had 33 rushing yards yesterday, but he really earns his bacon as a jack of all trades. sunday he had four receptions for 105 yards, due to 340 receiving yards in five games, better than any other player on the team, but he's a humble guy. >> as i said a lot before, i'm always just preparing myself for whatever happens and got my first start. so i was excited about that, but, you know, i thought i did some good things, but i could have played a lot better. >> no. 25 made some new friends on social media and he doesn't have to work hard to remember their names. get this. the roommate of a guy named chris thompson started a chat other guys named chris thompson and lo and behold, this chris thompson, no. 25 who runs real fast for the burgundy and gold randomly got added and said the exchange spilled over to twitter where no. 25 replied to another chris thompson, classic moments. imagine the surprise of all those other chris thompsons. you want to hear

i don't know that mr. curbelo has filed his bill. i think it's a press release, not a bill. mr. cicilline's bill is signed, sealed, 150 co-sponsors. so obviously if we can find common ground in terms of the language and whate accomplishes, that's what we want to do. but really, is he going to bring a bill to the floor? we know it would pass comprehensive immigration reform, if they brought the bill to the floor. we know that we would pass daca, the dream act, immediately if he would bring a bill to the floor. certainly the public pressure in terms of bump stock is such that we would pass that if we bring it to the floor. i'm going to have to excuse myself, there's a vote. i have to go vote. thank you. >> the house passed its budget earlier. meanwhile the senate budget committee is working on its measure for fiscal year 2018. the committee in break right now. when they come back we'll have live coverage of the senate budget committee here on c-span. also in washington, linda sanchez, vice chair of the house democratic caucus, said, it's time to pass the torch to a new generation

mr. higham: to be clear we made numerous attempts to set up an interview with content -- thompson. we sent over emails. this was our last-ditch thing. we really felt like he owed an explanation to the public why he introduced this legislation, and we felt as a public official that he should be held accountable for this legislation , and he refused to talk about it. so we went to pay him a visit. ms. casey: let's talk about what happened since the broadcast, and the "washington post" piece aired sunday. the job here is not to decide what changes are effective. you talked about the story and the public decide where to go, but we saw the president addressed this in a press conference as well as on a radio show. he talked about tom marino, and the president said tom marino said if there is a perception of a conflict of interest, if there is a perception, he does not want have to have anything to do with it. this was not about insurance companies. neither has the white house responded or are they savvy to what this story broke and what the future of this wise. >> do i think the white ho

mr weinstein has unequivocally denied any allegations of non—consensual sex. the british oscar—winning actress emma thompson has joined the long list of actors who've come forward to denounce his behaviour. she's been speaking exclusively to bbc newsnight‘s emily maitlis. i did not know about these things but they do not surprise me at all, they are endemic to the system. what i find extraordinary is that this man is at the very top of a particular iceberg. i don't think you can describe him as a sex addict, he is a predator. he is at the top of the ladder of a system of harassment and belittling and bullying and interference and what my mother would have referred to in the olden days as pestering. "is he pestering you?" that's the word we used to use, if you recall. this has been part of our world, women's worlds, since time immemorial. what we need to start talking about is the crisis in masculinity, the crisis of extreme masculinity which is this sort of behaviour and the fact that it is not only ok but it is also represented by the most powerful man in
