steven fisher is live in atlantic city. police made the bust before anyone got hurt. >> we are talking about a sniper rifle and five pipe bombs. the suspect tried to sell these weapons to anybody that would buy them. the 37-year-old and a 31-year-old were arrested last thursday when they sold high powered weapons to police officers. >> to have that kind of arsenal and gadgets in this area, it's unheard of. >> reporter: police say they were trying to sell a salvage rifle just like this one along with 300 rounds of ammunition and five pipe bombs that had instructions. they provided instructions and note they should be filled with nails to act as shrapnel. >> reporter: police dropped everything when they were tipped off by a good samaritan and 24 hours they made an arrest and recovery. >> if these pipe bombs had gotten into the wrong hands, what the devastation they could have done and somebody with a sniper rifle was holding 300 rounds of ammunition, the damage that could have been done. >> reporter: terrorism is not a factor

this week the coroner's report just ruled his death a homicide and all new at 5:00, steven fisher looks into whether charges will be filed in this case. >> reporter: the cause of death according to the coroner is blunt force trauma to the head. although the coroner ruled his death a homicide, more work ì% criminal charges will be filed. the 84-year-old who lived here at arden courts of beth hem township passed away in april and now we know what caused his death. the coroner ruled it homicide and said he died from kpli kaixs of blount force head trauma. they are handling this investigation, but details have been limited. they have not said how his e head was injured. arden courts told nbc 10 they will not comment on the death because of an ongoing investigation. they did release the statement saying, the safety and well being of residents is our primary concern. we're committed to delivering quality care to our residents and our caregivers are deeply committed to their emotional and physical well being. he's a u.s. army veteran. he also worked as a freight conductor for 35 years on the

steven fisher, police think this has been happening for years. >> reporter: they have evidence that the abuse goes back to 2012, possibly even earlier. five victims have come forward and police believer that number could go up. mike aech krichael cripps walke trading to hide and physical as he repeated lly shouted curse words. he is charged with sexual abuse and rape of five children. he was stressed back in 2013, but never charged. he came back into focus after a 5-year-old boy eye contacted authorities. >> he goes after young boys, he exploits them. sexually molests them and in fact he ruin their lives. >> reporter: court documents show two boys who are brothers claim cripps abused them along with two others. >> he befriends women and these women are all women who have young boys in their custody. >> he would make connections with parents through a side business. >> he advertises that he wants to come to children's part advertise and when he comes, he will dress up like aniky mousse mickey mouse or minnie mouse. >> and he will intimidate young victims to prevent them from speaking un.
