(steve) one person is dead after a car crash in santa rosa. it happened early sunday morning shortly after one. witnesses say the car was traveling southbound on santa rosa avenue before it jumped a curb and ran into a traffic signal pole and tree. when police arrived the 20-16 dodge charger was covered in flames. the driver was pronounced dead at the scene. police are still investigating the cause of the accident. the identity of the driver has not been released. ( marty ) the head of a non-profit group in san leandro is accusing a city manager of sexual misconduct dating back to at least 20-12. chris zapata is accused of making inappropriate or sexual advances towards davis street family resource center c-e-o rose johnson. she claims that zapata would comment on her clothing and make suggestive comments. johnson is calling for zapata's immediate resignation, or his firing by the san leandro city council. zapata has not yet commented on these allegations. ( marty ) a new 10-car bart train is in service. this comes after months of delays and an investment of more than two billion dollars. bart calls this the "fleet of the future". this new train is energy efficient....has digital maps and wider aisles, but fewer seats. bart says that allows more people to file onto the trains at once. one bart rider likes what she sees...including the "bay area" vibe of the train. <"being able to have something that's more spacious that has air conditioning that has more features i think is great...when you get on the train it still looks like a
