we have concerns in the northern and westerns for black ice. 34 degrees in allentown. reading has reached the freezing mark. even though it says 36 in trenton. 34 in philadelphia. in the northern suburbs in particular in wilmington and millville, you might have some of that icing showing up on the roadways and sidewalks, be careful of that. 27 is the current windchill in philadelphia. beyond the issue of black ice you want to make sure you're bodgedding -- bundling up. we are going tore temperatures not all that much above freezing. temperatures dropping, black ice is possible. roads and sidewalks are an issue. i had to scrape ice off my car a short while ago. the temperatures on or about the freezing mark about 10:00. 35 degrees, sunshine out there, the wind are blustery and could gust as high as 30 miles per hour. look for windchills in the teens and 20s through the day. who cares we have a super bowl championship to celebrate. that will make everybody feel warm inside. >> reporter: i think it is, dave. you know you showed us the temperatures below freezing or at the

allentown is where the heaviest snow fell. it reduced visibility and quickly covered roadways and sidewalks. crews were out all night salting and plowing the roads. we spoke to one woman at the height of the storm who was visiting her grandmother in allentown. although she drove, she decided it would be good to leave her car and walk home. >> everybody was talking about it coming. it came fast. heavy right away. >> reporter: and as we're taking a live look in allentown, this is 7th street at hamilton street. the roads at this point are just wet. there's a little bit of snow on the edges of the outer lanes. some piled up on the curbs as well from the plows going by. that's the same for a lot of the side streets as well. take a look. these sidewalks, something that i noticed. it looks like they're covered with snow, but those are patches of ice. although the sidewalks are clear, if you see anything that looks like snow in allentown, there's a good chance it's ice. other than that, travel should be pretty easy this morning. repor

cool in allentown, nudging up to that 43, struggling there. in reading 57, 60 in trenton, 52 in wilmington, 56 in millville and cape may down the shore another one of those spots that's a little cooler. all right, so fog. still an issue in some spots. we're down to a mile visibility in millville. wildwood and the airport in atlantic city right down along the coast, a third of a mile visibility there. philadelphia's up to three so that's a better number there. wilmington also improving. but out in lancaster still a third of a mile visibility and the same thing in allentown and the poconos. it's not everywhere but if you see it slow down and be more cautious. as we go through the day another record breaker. 58 degrees by 7 o'clock, 69 by noon and i'm going for a high of 76. patriotic degrees this afternoon. and that will just go right past the old record of 72 set way back in 1930 and i think there's going to be a lot of records falling, a lot of them fell yesterday. we got up to 73 yesterday in philadelphia. so, two straight days with this kind
