bob brooks live outside of the 25th police district headquarters in hunting park with the latest. >> reporter: well, this happened down on 6th and west clear field and according to police this was done execution-style and the suspect walked up to the victims and shot one point blank in the back of the head and the suspect is still on the loose. one of the people shot last night is now dead. a brazen attack in the early evening at 6:30, police say that two of the three victims were the intended targets. >> walked out of the corner store on the 600 block of west clear field when the shooter walked up to them point-blank range and fired at least five shots. >> the 30-year-old is pronounced dead and the second man a 24-year-old was struck in the arm and is he is stibl. a woman was hit in the back and unfortunately an innocent bystander. >> a brazen move. didn't care about anything else that was around and that is not atypical. we hope someone will come forward with information. >> the police spent the night watching the surveillance video inside of the convenience store and the man used

"action news" reporter bob brooks is live at eakins oval tonight. bob, what is the latest on the cleanup patrol? >> reporter: well, jim, good evening. a big parade means a big cleanup and that's exact what the city is doing like you just said, 60 tons of garbage, that's a lot of trash and right in front of me some of that slop but at this point the city doing an amazing job. they have a pretty good handle on things. this is how you clean up after quite possibly the biggest party in philadelphia history. you get out leaf blowers, street sweepers, the city even had to bring out the heavy machinery and it was all needed for the estimated 60 tons of garbage cleaned up after the super bowl parade. but the city says they were ready and willing for the task. >> like the eagles we just go to work. we get in there real quick and, you know, that's our job and that's our business and so our guys are happy to do it as you could see they're working hard right now getting this area clean and we hope to have it done by today. >> reporter: according to the city, th

"action news" reporter bob brooks is live at the school tonight. bob, officials acted quickly when they heard there was a gun inside the school. >> reporter: yeah, jim, they did but the real hero today is a little girl. she told the principal she saw a fellow student with a gun inside of the building. it's because of her quick actions that help was able to come so fast: these hugs felt a little more special today. >> this is a good feeling, this is a g >> reporter: that's because these students from the wagner middle school and their families didn't know what was going to happen. police say at 9:00 a.m. a student reported to the principal she witnessed another student with a gun inside the building. after it was clear students spoke with us about the lockdown they say each one of them were individually searched. s.w.a. teams and k-9 units looked through every room. >> i had to hide all the way in the back of theom. it was -- it was scary. >> they checked me and they said just stay calm. >> reporter: parents could only watch as police went to work.
