then things go to the house of representatives. there are a couple of procedural things that have to happen in the house. they have to go to what is called the rules committee. the rules committee is a gateway to the house floor. almost every piece of legislation that goes through the house floor has to have a rule, a rule sets the parameters, how you will consider that piece of legislation. we don't expect that to take very long but they have to process it, literally bring the paperwork over and they will bring it literally right through here, this is statuary hall just across the capitol on the house side of the building. they'll bring it here, bring it to the house, go upstairs to the rules committee, where they will set up the parameters for debate. we don't think they will debate a very long because there will be about five or 6:00 in the morning and then moved to pass it. that might be a slow developing play, as well because members have been told to be on standby between 4:00 and 6:00 in the morning. they probably come on li

of representatives, without hearing from one single expert in the house of representatives just bring this stuff to the floor. just passed a concealed carry bill in the house with very little discussion about this and can't even get a hearing on background checks. so, that would be -- i would recommend to the leader, if-as we win in november the speaker, we should start with that. bring in experts. we should have hearings. we should figure out the best way forward to keep our communities safe....
