mulvaney is wearing. mick: those are my captain america socks. my daughter wanted to see them on television, so thank you, caroline. deneen: thank you so much for being here today. today, we will focus on three core areas. that would be regulation, the budget and tax cuts. mr. mulvaney: in 15 minutes. deneen: i understand that reducing regulations is one of the president's top priorities for his administration. it is really something we do not hear enough about. we have heard a lot about the tax cuts, which we will hear about in a moment. but when it comes to regulations, it is like it goes hand-in-hand with the rollback in taxes and regulations. can you give us a progress report on whether -- on what has been done today? mr. mulvaney: sure. i think it is going extraordinarily well and the press is not like to cover things going destroyed nearly well for the administration. [applause] we try to talk about it every chance we get. i think the last time we tallied it up, we have repealed about 1500 obama-era regulations which delayed, stalled, kille

mick mulvaney said we are going to get a decline in revenue because of the tax cuts. how do you push back on that? speaker paul ryan: if we had not done there is we have had more funds invertingapital and leaving the country. i really believe we are setting ourselves for a growth period. maria: is this going to be enough to keep the house come november. speaker paul ryan: i think if we hadn't passed it it would have been very difficult. they are seeing the other side is offering nothing but crumbs and resist. y think we'll keep the house. maria: are you going to stick around to see the fruits of your labor? speaker paul ryan: my wife and i have that conversation in the spring of every election year. we haven't had it then. >> this is my tenth term. i have been in congress 20 years. we have a decision-making process we go through. i feel really good where we are. i am proud of the work we have done. it put the house republicans in a good position and the country in a good position. we are deregulating, we got tax reform and now we are read building our military. now we
