meteorologist karen rogers is in for david murphy with the details. hi karen. >> reporter: i don't know about you, but i don't know that people are ready to deal with this once again. we can see the beginning of the area of low pressure that's bringing blizzard-like conditions north and west into the plains. that area of low pressure will transfer energy to another low that will form another nor'easter for us. here's the key points. the nor'easter arrives with light precipitation tuesday evening into wednesday. e t impact would be late wednesday morning through wednesday evening with likely wednesday evening rush being another difficult one. we could see a plowable snow for some in the area. with wind 40 to 50 miles per hour that's significant. the last storm we had on friday we had up to 70 miles per hour wind heavy wet snow and 40 to 50 miles per hour winds could pose more problems. that's why the national weather service has already issued a winter storm watch in effect and we're looking at that in upper bucks and montgomery, and the lehigh valley

. >> karen rogers in for dave murphy. >> you say the kids are saying oh, yeah but my kids are sick of the snow. they're like let's move on with this. winter is not done with us. let's take a look at storm tracker6 live 3-d. there's a lot of moisture to work its way through our region and this is just the beginning. we can see the beginning of this nor'easter which is really going to intensify later on this afternoon. let's talk about some of the key points here. this is a high impact event. you need to be careful as you're planning your day and kind of staying off the roads, if you can. the peak is during the day time. not during the morning commute. so when you wake up and you're seeing some snowfall in parts of the region, this is just the beginning. the peak doesn't happen until later on. the heaviest snow will be north and west of the city. the strongest winds will be at the coast but even in the city we could see winds near 40 miles an hour. you add that with heavy snow it's going to spell some problems. the winter storm warning, the national weather service has this entire area

. >> and also meteorologist karen rogers in for dave murphy. good morning. >> yeah, you've got a lot to talk about. >> we do, that's right. the storm is developing, impacting the area already but conditions are really going get worse pretty shortly. let's take a look right now at storm tracker6 live 3-d so, the area of low pressure, the nor'easter is just beginning to take shape and so far it's really on track. it's about 50 to 70 miles off the coastline right now. as it tracks up the coast, it is going to intensify and produce even more snowfall. so, a few things that we're watching right now. let's take a look at the impacts. this is a high impact event. we want to warn everybody when you step outside and it doesn't seem that bad just yet that's because it hasn't intensified yet. the peak is later on in the daytime, late morning into the early afternoon hours. the heaviest snow potentially north and west. the strongest winds, though, at the coast but we could still see up to 40 miles an hour winds in the city itself. the winter storm warning
