i go to a lot of shows. i was at a show wednesday and had a lot of fun so i took yesterday off. i think young people are really taking advantage of what'ses going on in the world today and figuring out, well, how can they actually go about and make change? it's not just teenagers and stepping out of schools and everything. there are people who are rallying and doing amazing things and i do feel like it is -- i wasn't there during the 1960s but i feel it's that kind of spirit rising again today. there's a lot of benefit concerts. i think the politicians are starting to recognize this during the most recent election with our district attorney, larry crsner. i saw him at an event. he showed up at the church, which is a music venue also. in the first unitarian church they do largely punk shows but it's an all-ages venue. it's rather inexpensive so it's accessible to young people. larry showed up and he got up on stage with his band called shear mag is one of the great rock revival bands here in philly and getting a lot of national buzz. he went up on stage to go out and promote his
