. >> and good morning, i'm dave clark. let's talk about the weather. here's steve. >> not much has changed. we're just stuck -- if your by the coast it's okay but inland it's hot. there's been a northwest breeze for some on the mendocino lake county. red flag warning until tomorrow morning. the forecast high is for temperatures around 106 in redding. the smoke held it in the upper 90s for a while. mendocino and also into the lake county complex, temperatures are getting hot again. no way around it. it's in the 90s to 100's. 63 in the west. there's your northwest up in lion's valley, northwest 24. that's what laz been running that fire is the northwest wind. keep an eye on things here, a lot of low clouds and plenty to go around. still a decent breeze for some and not too bad for others. you can see higher clouds coming up. a mix of sun and clouds. temperatures 50s and 60s on your temperatures and water temperatures are really cold. bodega bay made it to 49. that keeps the coast and city on cold conditions. a lot of activity down south but it's staying

i'm dave clark. >> good morning. i'm pam cook. we're going to get to weather and traffic in just a second. but it's a very busy news day. we want to get right to the news we've been following from oakland. you can see a fire. firefighters responded to the fire on international boulevard. allie rasmus just arrived on scene. and what can you tell us about the fire? >> reporter: well, you can see behind us the fire is out. there's no more smoke or flames coming from the home. it's a duplex, a two story on international at 52nd. and firefighters are on the roof. for the last half hour or so they've been working to cut apart the ceiling inside the home to make sure there's no fire burning in the attic. here to tell us more about the fire fight is battalion chief torres. how bad were the flames when you got here? >> upon arrival the crews found the second story was well involved. a lot of fire coming out the roof 30, and the windows. >> and no one was inside the home or hurt but there was a firefighter who was injured? >> it was vacant

i'm dave clark. let's talk about the tuesday morning weather. steve paulson is in his office right here. >> i am indeed. and i have interesting cat on san francisco -- interesting data on san francisco. areas of fog and this will be a warmer day for those away from the coast. if you're inland, and into the 90s. warmest day looks to be tomorrow. and san francisco, 66, 57. average is 56, 64. not a big deal there. the record high is 78 set in 1974. that's the coolest record high for the entire summer months. you have to go back to march 20th to find a 78. and november ninth. so that's a very cool day. temperatures are warming up. livermore, 93 to 95. and menlo park, 82 to 84. and plenty of low clouds and fog. some of those continue to come up along the coast and filter in. occasional partly sunny. and overall mostly sunny and warm to hot away from the coast. 50s and 60s on the temps. there's a delta breeze, amazing here. there's enough on shore breeze and a thermal trough to give us the on shore breeze and the fog. 103 to 104 was not surprising loo

i'm dave clark. >> good morning. i'm pam cook. it's coming up on 5:30. the carr fire in shasta and trinity has now destroyed moret six people have died in the fire. 19 are still listed as missing. lauren blanchard is in one of the homes that was damaged. i know you have been there for a couple of days. can you tell us -- have the weather conditions changed at all? >> reporter: good morning. firefighters were hoping for a little bit of better weather but it doesn't look like it'll get to much better for them. it's supposed to get up to 106 degrees and stay over 100 degrees for the looking at winds overnight and into this morning which aren't is moving and west and when you get newspaper to that area the terrain gets rugged and officials say its making very hard on the crews in order to build some of the containment lines. it's a little harder of a task. it's moving at which from some of the more populated cities. we have lost -- they have lost more than 800 homes, burning more than 100,000 acres just the carr fire alone. as for evacuations we saw about 40

dave clark has the morning off. let's get you over to sal who has developments working there in the peninsula. >> that's right. we have a truck accident on 92 and this accident has -- at least at one blocked both lanes of highway 92 as you come up on -- lower skyline. its right there. it's an overturned truck. chp has been making fast work of opening at least one lane in both directions. they are doing one way traffic control and the crew on the scene just said they have opened up or at least moved the truck to the side which is better news. i still would not recommend leaving half moon bay and using 92. you will be stuck in a lot of slow traffic. if you are in half moon bay and want to get over the hill you may want to go pacifica or come over the hill and use 35 down to 84. let's see what we have. we have this video of the slow traffic that was taken by lee martinez on the way to the accident just a few moments ago and you can see this is the one way traffic control. it'll let some cars through and then going to t

. >> good morning, i'm dave clark. let's talk about your weather. >> things are popping a little bit. we'll tack a lack at that from the southern mendocino county and yorkville back to napa and also to glenn allen sonoma county and bodega bay. there's lightning reports right by yorkville now moving north so you can see that line there moving into mendocino county and over to glenn sal len. 29 over to highway 12 as well. a little bit forming as well on highway 12 just to the east and fairfield. there's a few isolated showers coming up again, this is all part of the tropical moisture continuing to swing in here. some isolated ones, cloudy to mostly cloudy and much warmer on the lows as you might imagine with 60s on many locations because of the cloud cover and humidity is up. there's a little bit of a breeze but if you don't have that breeze, it's already up to 28 in travis. that's impressive here. fog underneath that, a line forming right there heading towards the south bay. i'll talk a closer look at that. cloudy to mo
