bay here, the smokey skies across the north bay. that's where the fires are, of course. for the pawnee fire, we have some good news. humidity levels are up to about 72% yesterday morning, right around 50% after it dropped yesterday. it was very hot yesterday. 68 degrees right now near clear lake and wind gusts 25 miles an hour. just south of there, gusting up to 34 miles an hour. it is a bit breezy this morning but at least the temperatures are on the side of the firefighters. it's not too hot right now. humidity is up, and 70% is good news. we'll start to see the smokey skies moving toward the east and central valley. eventually all this smoke is going to head more north by the time wednesday and thursday get here. for now it's more of an onshore breeze, and we are seeing the coastal cloud cover out there. that's helping keep the smoke away from us. it's a sign the winds are pushing the clouds inland. air quality is moderate. of course where the fires are, it's worse. all we are noticing right now is the marine layer out there, so
