ohio is a great state for conservative values. i am certain republicans will show up tuesday and support for balderson, he is a supporter of the second amendment, conservative values represented well in the 12th congressional district. >>, how the president there has been talk this week, following up on all the paths it has become a proxy war. donald trump has been brought up a lot, nancy pelosi brought up a lot. what are voters talking about? are they focused on local issues or becoming an issue of establishment versus progressive democrat. it is down the middle. >> it is a lot of what you said voters are focused on, think about 2016 and how important it was to republicans to make sure we had a president that would appoint a us supreme court justice that understood the responsibility of the judge and we will see with another vacancy what is going to drive the turn out in the 12th congressional district, you look at the 12 conditional district and it was held by a republican for a long time and i believe that when voters go to the

what does state law in ohio say? it says that any election where the margin is 0.5 or less automatically goes to a recount. no winner declared. they do a recount. 0.9 is higher than 0.5 so balderson is north of that number. again, you say, why is it too close to call? the big number to crunch, 3,435, that is the number of provisional votes yet to be reviewed from these counties that are outstanding. now, what do we know about provisional votes? they tend to break democratic. you can almost take it to the bank that the democrats will get more votes, potentially significantly more votes out of this pool of 3,435. they disproportionately come from franklin and democratic parts of delaware county. the democrats, you could say i don't know, probably more than 60% that o'connor got. what would that do? net him somewhere in the neighborhood of 6, 700 votes. you would take that 1,766, now you're south of a thousand. if you're south of a thousand, what happens to that 0.9? if this number gets cut in half, let's say that numbe

ohio 12, you're close. i don't think you've ever heard anybody say that to you as a democrat before. why are you close? >> because we're organizing everywhere. we've got a great candidate. we've got a great message. he's fighting for health care. he's fighting to make sure that people with diabetes or people like his mother, who is a cancer survivor, can get access to health care by protecting medicaid. he's fighting to make sure that everybody's got a fair shot. he's fighting for prosperity for everyone, and his opponent is fighting the trump agenda, that agenda that said those tax cuts are okay. his opponent said, i'd be willing to change the age for social security and medicare retirement eligibility. we're fighting for these basic democratic issues that affect people's lives, and he's talking about nancy pelosi and things that aren't relevant. that's why we're winning this race. and, chris, there's been a remarkable -- >> i just put up the numbers, tom. can you see them just so you know? right now o'con
