what does state law in ohio say? it says that any election where the margin is 0.5 or less automatically goes to a recount. no winner declared. they do a recount. 0.9 is higher than 0.5 so balderson is north of that number. again, you say, why is it too close to call? the big number to crunch, 3,435, that is the number of provisional votes yet to be reviewed from these counties that are outstanding. now, what do we know about provisional votes? they tend to break democratic. you can almost take it to the bank that the democrats will get more votes, potentially significantly more votes out of this pool of 3,435. they disproportionately come from franklin and democratic parts of delaware county. the democrats, you could say i don't know, probably more than 60% that o'connor got. what would that do? net him somewhere in the neighborhood of 6, 700 votes. you would take that 1,766, now you're south of a thousand. if you're south of a thousand, what happens to that 0.9? if this number gets cut in half, let's say that numbe
