hello and welcome to sportsday. i'm olly foster. hello there, we'll start with that tottenham news that has broken this evening. their state of the art 62,000 seater stadium will not be ready for its scheduled first match next month. the club say that there are issues with the critical safety systems which will delay the necessary test events required. spurs were due to play their first game there against liverpool on the 15th september but that and the cardiff city match on the 6th october and an nfl fixture on the 14th will be switched to wembley where they played all their home games last season. at least one champions league fixture will also have to be moved. spurs had already been given permission to play next saturday's home game against fulham at wembley. the spurs chairman daniel levy has said in a statement, "at the start of the project we asked for your support during what we knew would be a complex and challenging build and now we ask for your continued patience and forbearance.
