at 6 p.m. last night we had a vegetation fire in the area of the incident that we're working right now. crews responded to that vegetation fire, put it out. and approximately an hour after we left the scene, we were called back out to the scene for a fire in the vault. what we discovered was a active fire burning in a vault with a large pipeline with natural gas and i'll let our subject matter expert from chevron discuss that a little further in detail. but, um, it was realized very quickly that there was a high probability of danger. and so a decision was made to escalate the incident which included setting up an evacuation zone of a half mile radius around the incident. and we also called out additional fire resources, went to a first and second alarm units to stage in the potential of a rupture of the gas line. since then, we have been working throughout the evening with our law enforcement partners and chevron partners, unified command, to mitigate this incident. we are understanding we hav

oakland checking in at 66 and livermore and san jose at 64. where we don't have the wind blowing, santa rosa 56 to start your day. look at the numbers from yesterday to today. the 24-hour temperature change shows you napa is 15 degrees warmer this morning than yesterday. oakland by 10. livermore by 11 and san jose up by 7 degrees or so. the winds will continue today. here is a look at the flow coming from the north- northeast. that what is happening the drive the temperatures and dry us out. relative humidity is a lot lower today than yesterday. as far as the winds go we expect those to continue into the afternoon. we will see it especially breezy at the coast and in our hills. even the bayside communities and inland will see some of that into the second part of the amp, anywhere from 10 to 20 miles per hour will be a -- part of the afternoon, anywhere from 10 to 20 miles per hour will be the challenge today. when it is warm and dry and the winds are gusting, anything that starts in the way of fire could move rapidly. we will be tracking that.
