i have lived in san francisco since 1960. i grew up in the haight-ashbury and attended public schools. i graduated from san francisco state university with a bachelor's and a master's and i graduated from u.c. hastings college of the law. i worked at a waitress through high school, college and law school, and i worked for the federal government during and after law skoochlt most of my jobs were union jobs, such as with local two, the hotel and restaurant workers in san francisco. i have been an attorney since 1988. i practiced labor and employment law at the city, state and federal levels. i was a small business owner for ten years with my own law firm, and i understand the burdens and frustrations imposed by government. my husband larry and i got married in 1990. he's been a member of the ebew local six for more than 50 years, and i've thrilled that his union has endorsed me as a candidate. larry graduated from san francisco state university with a degree in electrical engineering, and he taught electrical engineering there

of the san francisco community clinic consortium. our organization represents 11 of the nonprofit community health centres in san francisco. collectively, our members serve 113,000 san francisco residents which is about ten% of the population. we also serve about 4200 healthy san francisco people and 46,000 other enrollees. our organization serves two functions. one is a common voice for the health centres under our umbrella organization and the second one i will speak to them just a moment. in terms of the 11 health centres that operate throughout san francisco, with a quick survey out to them, they reported back that they have difficulty obtaining search and medication vaccines and medications and also inhalers, particularly for the healthy san francisco population. they also work to cover creams and ointments for people who have psoriasis and other issues where these medications might not be around and the expectation is patients will pay for them out of their own pocket which is very hard for them to come up with. the second char

i have a letter from san francisco on speaking on behalf of of san francisco. san francisco forest alliance is asking, once again, why does san francisco continue to expose women and children and other deadly herbicides? as you know, on august 10th 2018, in san francisco, a trial of dimensions -- the jury found monsanto guilty and ordered to pay 289.2 million in damages to the school district. the jury determines that the company knew about this and purposely deceived his partners. by now, roughly a thousand 700 plaintiffs have made claims in state courts across the country alleging the exposure of the herbicide led to various types of cancer. as part of that, they remain in san francisco and still use this pesticide. and other widely herbicide in san francisco is -- pesticide -- it is 20 times as toxic and causes severe burns at relatively low levels of exposure. is a high priority for replacement at least since 2009. the forest alliance first started keeping track. it is used on grass, where children eat and sit. instead of committing to pesticide free parks,

we were a center for people with intellectual and development cal disabilities in san francisco san francisco. we also have a program for individuals that have acquired brain injury or traumatic brain injury, and we also have one of the larger after school programs for children with special needs that serves the public school system. the sf carbon fund for us has been the launching pad for an entire program here at the pomeroy center. we received about $15,000. the money was really designed to help us improve our garden by buying plants and material and also some infrastructure like a drip system for plants. we have wine barrels that we repurposed to collect rain water. we actually had removed over 1,000 square feet of concrete so that we could expand the garden. this is where our participants, they come to learn about gardening. they learn about our work in the greenhouse. we have plants that we actually harvest, and eggs from our chickens that we take up and use in cooking classes so that our participants learn as much as anybody else where food comes from. we have two kitchens here at the

i was born in san diego and adopted out to san francisco when i was about 17 years old. i bounced around a little bit here in high school, but i've always been here in the bay. we are an inclusive preschool, which means that we cater to emp. we don't turn anyone away. we take every child regardless of race, creed, religious or ability. the most common thing i hear in my adult life is oh, you don't seem like you have autism. you seem so normal. yeah. that's 26 years of really, really, really hard work and i think thises that i still do. i was one of the first open adoptions for an lgbt couple. they split up when i was about four. one of them is partnered, and one of them is not, and then my biological mother, who is also a lesbian. very queer family. growing up in the 90's with a queer family was odd, i had the bubble to protect me, and here, i felt safe. i was bullied relatively infrequently. but i never really felt isolated or alone. i have known for virtually my entire life i was not suspended, but kindly asked to not ever bring it up again in first grade, my desire to
