>> just a couple blocks from downtown oakland on 12th and martin luther king. you heard steve and sal talk about the wind. good gusts here and a squall went through and this tree came down about half an hour ago. a 50 footer right on the street. you can see the crown right at the base of the roof. i'm guessing it came down because of the wind. i don't know if this driver knows but this honda passport got struck, the tree hitting it on the windshield and it's flaking off taking out the mirror and then resting here in the street. it was actually perpendicular in the street when we arrived but i got to hand it to the oakland fire department. they came and pulled out the chain saws and i kid you not, in five minutes they got the tree quartered up and pushed over to the street. the oakland police department is here making sure things are moving along well. just crazy, it's wild and big time windy on a side note if we can come back live here, they're building a beautiful building across the street. you can see the cyclone fencing here. the contractors had to come out
