this is georgia. and georgia deserves a governor who will fight for georgia's values. so that is the choice you are facing. it is a choice between more jobs and more mobs. it is a choice between tax cuts and tax hikes. a choice between less government and more freedom and more government and less freedom for businesses in the city and on the farm. it is really a choice between keeping georgia growing and keeping georgia going. so we have to keep a decision right here right now. we're going to keep chopping until the polls close and make sure that brian kemp is the next governor of the state of georgia. i love that. but here's the thing. it is not going to be easy. conventional wisdom says the party in the white house has a challenging time winning elections in the first midterm election, right, after a presidential election. that has been true for the republican party over the last 100 years. every midterm election except for two. that is the conventional wisdom. but i think we all know what president trump thinks of conventional wisdom. we made history in 2016 and we

stacey abrams was the focus of the celebrity visits in georgia last week. a visit from president obama and oprah winfrey. brian camp is getting his visit from none other than president trump. they're going to rally together in macon, georgia. that's a big thing for brian kemp. this is a very, very, very tight race. probably a statistical dead heat as you said. trump weighed in on that race. he spoke out about it last week unprompted. he said that stacey abrams was unqualified to be the governor of georgia. he said something about her past. he never said what he was talking about made her unqualified. went to spellman college and yale law school. we'll see if he has elaboration about that today. brian kemp is in the trump hold on immigration. he brought it up at a town hall that he held in suburban atlanta. he made some very strange comments about stacey abrams, saying that she's very in support of illegal immigrants. let's take a listen. >> she also wants taxpayer benefits, free college for those illegally. my friends, that will bankrupt the citizens. she's

at the state capitol as they called for all votes to be counted in the georgia gubernatorial race. this is state senator nikema williams speaking after her release. blackas singled out a as a female senator standing in the rotunda a with cononstituents ie capital, a body i serve in, and our singled out and arrested today for standing with some e y georgians were demanding that every vote be counted and i am incredibly proud and will continue to stand with the citizens of georgia. amy: on monday, federal judge blocked georgia interim secretary of state robyn crittenden from certifying the governor's race before friday and ordered the review of thousands of provisional ballots. until last week, the secretary of state was brian kemp -- who's the republican candidate. kemp stepped down from the post last week after the election.
