( darya ) in the east bay... several streets in east oakland were shutdown overnight because of a shooting that involved police. it started with a police chase in vallejo that ended with a crash in oakland. police the driver opened fire within the city limits of oakland and some point after that officers fired back. officials say the driver had on body armor along with various weapons in the car.
