do you think that nick mullins is going to be the starter for the rest of the year? >> he certainly has the chance to be. obviously, jimmy garoppolo is the guy that the 49ers gave the contract to and are planning on him to be the number one guy in the future, but i also you what is up for grabs is the backup position. we have seen what cj can do and frankly, he turned into a turnover machine. if you look at what nick mullins did, three touchdown passes, no interceptions, the 49ers have to feel very bad about that. no question about the fact that he earned a second start. if he goes out and does well monday night against the giants, there is every reason to think that he could be the starter for the rest of the year and are in the number one spot as backup. >> not to take anything away from him but he did get pretty lucky in the sense that he played the raiders who are probably the worst team in the league. and the giants who are probably the second worst. >> now the one-when giants. but, he did say today that he was ready for the speed of the me the guys are, i think
