it's burned an area the size of the city of san jose. in the meantime, two massive wildfires still burning in los angeles and ventura counties. the woolsey fire has charred nearly 85,000 acres. it is 15% contained. at least two people are confirmed dead in that fire. >>> "today in the bay's" bob redell live at the cal fire station center in chico. bob, the teams have a lot of work ahead of them. >> reporter: cal fire has called in more than 4,000 men and women now to fight the camp fire, which laura, is burning several miles from our location at the fairgrounds in chico, the staging area where the firefighters eat, sleep, get supplies before heading out to the front lines. take a look at this. this is some of the help they're getting from the air. you are looking at a global supertanker, a converted 747 that's been dropping fire retardant on the fire. there is still a lot of work there. the fire is only 25% contained. it's burned over 110,000 acres and as you mentioned, 29 people killed, making this the deadliest wildfire in the state in
