(jrstone) good news out of butte county the camp fire is now completely contained at 153,336 acres. many of our local fire teams are back home or making their way back home from paradise. the massive fire began the morning of november 8th on camp creek road near the town of paradise and has since become the most destructive wildfire in california history. the butte county sheriff's office and cal fire have reported 85 fatalities and 296 people unaccounted for. the fire destroyed 18,000 structures in and around paradise. and the woolsey fire is also fully contained. it burned over 95-thousand acres... three people died that fire.
