from st. helena down to san jose. we're dry, we still have some clouds, maybe a little bit of sun poking through. then as we head through the evening hours we get that rain returning here across the north bay. again, 5:00 p.m. rain is back with that second storm. as we head through thanksgiving night, wide praed coverage of rainfall from here's the thing. it looks like it's going to be lingering into friday morning. also into friday evening. and that's where w sta to get into a problem with the storm system. we're looking at about 24 hours of rainfall. and it's going to add up. down in the south bay near san jose our early estimate is about a quarter to a half inch. look at the key at the top. there's a lot of colors here. find your city. but the general rule outside of san jose is about a half inch to 3/4 of an inch for most of our lower elevations. then look at this magenta color in the north bay. santa cruz mountains in the east bay. that's where the hills could pick up 1 1/2 inches and/or higher. we may see some r
