asia needs to open up its capital markets. it needs to create open access for foreign direct investors. it needs to develop a yield curve, a really transparent yield curve. and you need a currency that everyone understands freely floats in the world. part,think that is a key or one of the key ingredients. yes, asia can do a lot for itself, and china has done a lot for itself, and the government has thrown an enormous capital into the system. something thats does not create the breadth and depth you need to create to be a global powerhouse. the reality is that asia's investment means are massive. whether you have infrastructure, urbanization, entrepreneurial capacity needs -- the famous number is $1.7 trillion a year in just infrastructure investment. you are talking about trillions of dollars. bank's areevelopment doing $400 billion. if you added the entire lending capacity of all the banks in china and the commandments over the next five years, you get $800 billion. the first number starts with a t. the second starts with b.
