new hampshire political reporter joining us now. paul, you know just about everything about what's going on in new hampshire politics. what about biden's economic policies? that's what we're interested in. how do they stack up against his 19 competitors? >> yeah, 19 competitors, that's the largest field as you said we have ever seen. you know, joe biden, when it comes to the economy is going to be portraying himself as, you know, a defender, a champion of the working class, of the unions. he's very tight with unions. we will probably see a major union endorsement tomorrow from the international association of firefighters. we will see others as well. where is joe biden going on monday for his first real event as he launches his campaign? he's going to pittsburgh. he will be at a union hall, steel workers. you will hear a populist message from joe biden. he's hoping he's the democrat who can win back the states like pennsylvania, ohio, michigan, wisconsin and others working class states that donald trump captured in 2016. guys? >> he

they were all in manchester, new hampshire, for a cnn town hall. the first major candidate event of the campaign. senators amy klobuchar. elizabeth warren, bernie sanders, kamala harris, and south bend mayors pete buttigieg were asked about a key issue for the party, whether to impeach president trump over the findings in the mueller report. >> the impeachment proceedings are up to the house. they're going to have to make that decision. i am in the senate, and i believe that we are the jury. there is a third way to hold this president accountable and that is by defeating him in the 2020 election. >> if any other human being in this country had done what's documented in the mueller report, they would be arrested and put in jail. >> if there's going to be any accountability, that accountability has to come from the congress. and the tool that we are given for that accountability is the impeachment process. >> if and this is an if, if for the next year, year and a half going right into the heart of the election all that the congress is talking about i

hampshire, 9%, 11% in new hampshire and what's so interesting is he's able to get that despite the fact that his name recognition is still fairly low, which means that he's converting a lot of the people who have heard of him into actual votes and that's something that's very, very telling. i'll be honest with you, most of the people who will be vote in these caucus and primaries will like all the candidates, can you actually convert those people that like you into vote and so far mayor pete is doing that. we'll have to wait and see if he's able to continue doing that and can he take a punch when the other candidates go after him. >> we're still expecting a few more filings up until monday from other democrats who are in the field. is there any one that you're looking toward to see if they have what it takes to make it the next 300 days or so until the first caucuses and primaries? >> you know, i'll be honest with you, i'm interested perhaps in some of the governors and jay inslee and john licken looper. we've gotten the numbers so far from amy klobuchar who i thought entered the race i
