i'm dave clark. let's talk about traffic first. sal is over there. what's happening, sal. what are you keeping an eye on? >> well, we do have a little road work out there. that i'm going to talk about in just a second. here's the tracy super commute. this is the actual -- the best that i've seen it in a while. it is a nice drive, coming in tracy, livermore, pleasanton. and continuing all the way out to the dublin interchange with no major problems. i do want to mention some grinding and paving work going on, coming in through richmond. we have a couple of lanes closed. and that's make a big and somewhat unexpected delay, coming in from el sobrante, in to richmond and san pablo. going to be narrowed down to one lane as they do this. and hopefully it won't take too long. but look at this backup we already have here early in the morning. for this roadwork. that would be in the westbound direction. people will be in stop-and-go traffic. that is the worst, isn't it? sometimes you're stuck in 3:00 stop-and-go traffic. are you kidding me? before perhaps, saying some words that yo

i'm dave clark. let's talk about your weather. steve is off today. mark tamayo is here with our forecast upon. >> hi there. good morning, guys. seems like most of july has been dealing with mild weather patterns. but this week. >> it's going to change. >> at least in the bay area, yeargoing to have options. microclimates from the 60s to the 90s. but a few spots inland could be inching closer to 100 degrees. you can see that fog bank, kind of making a comeback. with that, we're going to have the beaches mainly in the 60s. mainly hot inland. and the central valley could be approaching triple digit territory. look what is happening to our south. toward southern california. clouds. showers popping up there. and even instability working its way close to the bay area. looks like lightning strikes just outside of the merced area. something we'll have to keep an eye on. here is this fog bank, though, near the coast. and near portions of the bay. i have noticed the fog kind of expand in coverage over the past one or two hours near the coast. and near the bay.

. >> i'm dave clark. let's talk about our weather. steve paulson -- first we are going to go -- a problem on the bay bridge we want to keep track of. >> it's still a problem. the far right lane of the bay bridge before treasure island is blocked because of a four- car crash that happened this morning around 5:00. see the back up, see where the flashing lights are, by the emeryville tower, oakland span tower of the bay bridge where this four-car collision was. two of the vehicles need to be towed out of the way. you see the back up across the span. let's show you the map here. this is creating quite a back up. not just to the toll plaza but beyond. east shore freeway through past powell, it's congested and also westbound 580 as well. there is a new report of a crash. a couple of crashes, they popped up in this back up. one of them at westbound 80, it connects with westbound 580. also another crash just before the toll plaza. give yourself extra time if you can, maybe take bart or figure out some other way to get in to the city if this
